Evening Jewelry - Highlights from what I wore to the Orange County Chamber’s Snow Ball 2017!
Sky Diamond Jewelers is 5 months young and we have come out with a bang! It’s been an amazing start to our first year in business and we are so excited for what the rest of the year has to bring. Last week, Isreal and I had the great opportunity to join the Orange County Chamber of Commerce and hundreds of other leading local business owners and members of our community at the annual Snow Ball, the first and largest networking event of the year! We were so excited to represent our store, meet new people, and especially have fun with the many activities (such as casino tables, gasp!) that were lined up for the night. The event took place at the beautiful Anthony’s Pier 9 in New Windsor. While we were eager to mingle, I was especially excited to show off some gorgeous jewelry, perfect for an evening out with my love.
The first thing I needed to do was decide on what to wear. While jewelry is very versatile, it must compliment your outfit. Thanks to a lovely friend, I was able to rock a very sexy dress featuring a dramatic low cut top. (Don’t mind the bathroom selfie!)
I knew that my necklace choice would have to be long to mimic this dramatic neckline. So I chose the elegant Double Dangle Y-Necklace by Lafonn. It features Platinum-bonded Sterling Silver with their signature Lassaire simulated diamonds. Perfection! Below is the picture of my necklace from their website. We have it in store for only, $170!
Next, I needed to decide on a hairstyle and earrings. I wanted to wear glimmering diamond earrings that imitated the same low drop neckline as my dress. So, I went with beautiful teardrop shaped diamond earrings in 14k gold paired with stunning diamond halo studs. To show them off I decided on a slick pulled back side ponytail. Now, I was set from neck up!

When it comes to rings and bracelets, the combinations are endless! The great thing is that you can stack, add, or go simple. I wanted to make a big impact, so I added! I paired my beautiful diamond halo Engagement Ring with 3 other diamond rings that sang glitz and glam! Not to mention the diamond tennis bracelet that would make any woman’s heart flutter. There is no such thing as too many diamonds on a night like this, so I made sure to ice my wrists!

The night flew by quickly to say the least. The food was fantastic, as always. Everyone we met and spoke with was so inspiring. We are excited to continue this adventure forward in our business and in our community. The Orange County Chamber of Commerce Snow Ball was a blast! Dressing up for a ball is fun, but wearing sparkly jewelry is the icing on the cake. Great jewelry makes you feel like a million bucks, and I definitely did! I’m already looking forward to next year’s ball… :D
